Hey guys! Well, I’m busy planning my Summer/Back to School Thrifting Tour. It’s going to be on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 in Birmingham, Alabama, and the tickets are on sale now!
My very first thrift shopping tour was last November in Birmingham, and since then, a number of people have asked, “So, when is the next tour?”
This time, I’m inviting shoppers from both the Montgomery and Birmingham metro areas to come with me to some of my favorite thrift stores and consignment shops in Birmingham. I’ll be on hand to give advice on how to find the best deals on clothing and high-end fashions, shoes, jewelry, housewares, furniture, collectibles, art and more. We’ll shop, chat, have lunch and just have a great time!
If you're a parent looking for back-to-school bargains or a college student looking for a budget-friendly way to decorate your dorm room, this tour is definitely for you. Thrift stores offer great deals on items like clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, and bedding.
You can board the bus in Montgomery at 6 a.m., at 1555 Eastern Blvd., or at 8 a.m., at 1550 Montgomery Hwy., in Hoover, Ala., just outside Birmingham. The cost for boarding in Montgomery is $40. The cost for boarding in Birmingham is $35. The ticket prices will includes lunch.
To order your tickets, call 205-529-4441 if you live in Montgomery. But if you live in the Birmingham metro area, you can order your tickets by calling or dropping by the UPS Store at 130 Wildwood Parkway. The number to call is 205-945-8200. Please be sure to RSVP to reserve your seat by Friday, July 19, 2013 by calling 205-856-7455.
I’m looking forward to meeting you, so get your tickets as soon as you can!
